The NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year nominees were the envy of every young Footified AFL fan around the country on the weekend when they had the experience of a life-time participating in one of the biggest events on the Australian sporting calendar, the 2015 Toyota AFL Grand Final.
The NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year nominees had the time of their lives during a weekend of action packed activity. They kicked the weekend off in style at the NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year Awards Dinner where they stepped onto the hallowed MCG turf for the first time. The excitement continued to grow when Geelong Captain and NAB AFL Auskick ambassador, Joel Selwood, presented each nominee with their official NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year nominee playing jumpers.
On Friday, the NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year nominees walked alongside the two competing Toyota AFL Grand Final teams through the streets of Melbourne in the traditional Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade.
Grand Final Day was undoubtedly the highlight of the trip when the NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year nominees returned to the MCG and played NAB AFL Auskick at half-time in front of thousands of avid fans prior to the big game. The 22 NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year nominees were lucky enough to present the premiers with their 2015 Toyota AFL Premiership Medals.
