Get Involved – Parent Participation

tyler_ak_01-jpgParents are the driving force behind NAB AFL Auskick. Their role as coordinators, coaches and volunteers is fundamental to the success of the program.

Parents will be encouraged by NAB AFL Auskick centre coordinators to become involved in their child’s NAB AFL Auskick program. You do not need any previous experience to assist the centre coordinator or the coaching coordinator.

We aim to involve parents as much as possible in our weekly sessions from practicing the skills with your kids, to participating in the fun games we play throughout the season.

Your experience as a parent is all you need to be a valuable volunteer. NAB AFL Auskick is, hopefully, the start of a lifetime involvement in Australian Football.

If you would be interested in becoming an Auskick coordinator/coach please look at our coordinators section or contact your state AFL office for more information. Each state offers coaching courses available as well as resources to ensure all volunteers are well equipped to deliver a high quality program.
