NAB congratulates 2009 NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year, Kyle Skene from South Barwon, Victoria. Kyle wins $5,000 in a NAB Smart Junior Saver Account and Geelong’s Joel Selwood as his footy mentor in 2010!

Kyle was selected this year based on his passion and enthusiasm for NAB AFL Auskick - not necessarily for being the best player, but for being a great teammate and looking out for others. He was selected ahead of over 5,500 other applicants from all around Australia - a very significant honour!

Last week the 22 nominees for the 2009 NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year travelled to Melbourne for an amazing Grand Final experience. First stop was an Awards Dinner at the MCG, followed by a walk in the Grand Final Parade on the Friday, a kick on the MCG during the halftime break of the Grand Final and the opportunity to present premiership medals to the Geelong players after the big match. What an Auskickin’ dream!
