Last year, the AFL and NAB introduced successful new Auskick Volunteer of the Year Awards.

Each region can submit their own nominees and out of 94 regional winners, seven state winners will be selected, from which an overall NAB AFL Volunteer of the Year will be chosen.

Each regional winner will receive a plaque as recognition for their contribution. The seven state winners will each receive a trip to the 2012 Toyota AFL Grand Final where the overall winner will be announced. The overall winner will accompany the AIS Academy under 17s on their training camp in 2013 along with $5,000 spending money: a true money-can't-buy experience!
