Auskick at Half Time

Auskick at Half TimeEach year, the AFL provides the opportunity for children to play football at half-time at all stadiums across the country. For many children and parents, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

In 2009, more than 23,000 NAB AFL Auskick participants and junior umpires experienced the pinnacle of our sport – playing at the grounds their heroes play on each week.

In addition to providing free match ticketing for the children who participate, the AFL also provides their parents with:

  • One free ticket for a child participating in a grid game
  • Two free tickets for a child participating in AFL Auskick Rules matches
  • One free ticket for a parent accompanying a junior umpire

The AFL provides more than 55,000 free tickets each year to facilitate this component of the NAB AFL Auskick program.

Your regional development manager will consult with your centre coordinator to determine a match for your centre to experience NAB AFL Auskick at half-time.

It is important to highlight that many regional development managers rotate this opportunity each year as in some development regions it is impossible to cater for all centres in one season.
